There is an advocacy group for workers injured on the job called the “National Organization of Injured Workers” (or “NOIW”). Their official website is at http://www.noiw.org/
On their official site is a page devoted to a few workers’ comp related horror stories, and a page with information on how injured workers to join the organization.
